Trying to find out if anyone ever came across a John Coyne, who was born on 11th aug; 1893 and emigrated to America. He was known to have visited a cousin of his,Joseph Emile Coyne, who lived in the Bronx. from time to time.He was born in Sandfield,Killinvoy.Roscommon. He most probably stayed single and appeared to have been a bit of a loner from all accounts.

My maternal grandmother was Catherine (or Katherine) Coyne, born in Clifden, Galway, 9 November 1875. Married Michael Hoban of Ballinrobe, Mayo. Lived on U S East Coast for a time, then ended up in San Pedro,CA, where she died in june, 1944. Not sure of relation to your John, but maybe you could ask in Clifden area. Please disregard first two followups, as I got them wrong. Thanks, and good luck.

...There was a John Coyne who had a business in Hamilton, OH thirty years ago. Since there was a sizable Irish community in Hamilton, you may want to check the records at the Butler County courthouse or St. Mary's (now St. Julie's) Catholic church. Also St. Mary's cemetery, where most of the Irish are buried.
