irish surname deignan

My grandmother's maidon name was Annie Deignan (not sure if Deignan was spelt different). Looking for information about her Father. My Grandmother had a brother and sister. The brother was killed in a accident in Longford and the sister Im not sure if she went to a America or not.

I believe the correct spelling is Duignan.

Dear Jackie:
Griffiths database on this site (search Townland Cloonyquin,
Fuerty Parish, Co. Roscommon) lists a John Dignan as lessor and
tenant of land there in 1857 or 1858. My relations sublet the
same land.
