I do have information about her life in New York from the 1880 census and her death certificate.
She married William T. Ferre in Manhattan. She died October 1,1895 in Manhattan at age 46. She had been in NYC for 30 years. She gives her birthplace as Ireland. Her parents were Oliver and Margaret Jones. She is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, N.Y. I was told as a child that she came from County Roscommon. Her only child was George Francis Ferre born in 1875 Manhattan. George was married in St. Brigid's Church,NYC in 1903. I have contacted the church, but they do not have any records . George was my grandfather.
I do not have any experience in Irish genealogy. I have done research in early U.S, Canada and Scotland. If you have any ideas, I would appreciate your input.
