Tiernan - trying to find out information on
Peter Tiernan born 1831 (not sure of the
county) died Dec 4, 1891 Doogra Country
Roscommon (Peter had a large farm at that time
Married to Ann McRann from Blackrock Co. Leitrium
They had only 1 child Brigid Jane Tiernan
born Jan 26, 1860 (would assume they married
a few years prior to Brigid birth) - unless other
children before her passed -
The family homestead was passed on to Brigid
and her husband John Shivnan after Peter's
passing
2 of Brigid and John Shivnan children
show a John Tiernan as Godparent
The Shivnan name for this family was later
changed to Shivnen

Thanks John for the information
Trying to locate a Church record for the marriage
of Peter Tiernan to Ann McRann (McCrann)
They would have been married around 1858 or
1859 - Ann from Blackrock Country Leitrium
Guessing that a Church in that area didnt release
the records to LDS British Isles
Also tried searching brsgeneology.com
(Irish Family History Foundation) no luck
Was able to see the homestead of the Tiernan's
and McRanns back in 2000 -
Any suggestions
Thanks again
Kevin
