:Try the Roscommon Heritage and Genealogical Center, Church Street, Strokestown, Co. Roscommon, Ireland. They have a form and cost here at this site. Go to main page of this site to find it. good luck with the search, it can be a bit hard in that time frame if the person was RC. If you know the perish and a church is still there you could write to them too. Good luck.

Follow-up: The address for birth certificates in Dublin is Office of the Registrar, Joyce House, 8-11 Lombard Street East, Dublin 2, Ireland. The price is $15.00 for a full birth certificate "vault copy". You need to send the ful name of the person, date of birth, place of birth, and father and mother's (maiden) name. If you email me your snail address I'll send you a form at no charge. Their telephone number is 011 353 1 6711000. Good luck.
