: A huge number of buildings, archaeological sites, documents, legacies relate to Roscommon;'s Heritage, many of which are unrecorded and neglected. To improve Roscommon's Tourist "products" an inventory of these valuable resources is needed and the work involved will take years to catalogue. The Roscommon Heritage Group would wish to hear from those who have an interest in supporting the work by providing information, copies of documents, data, etc and thus begin the task of preserving much of the unrecorded material thjat lies at many locations. As an example - the huge dolmen at Lecarrow is unrecorded, as are all the earth and stone works around that dolmen. Galey Castle is falling down, lies totally neglected and its history is unrecorded. Call me if you think you can help. Thanks from Mary O'Carroll
