Has anyone ever heard of a town in County Rosscommon with the name of Bally League? I am uncertain of the spelling, so it may be Ballileague or something similar.

Also, what does 'bally' mean in Ireland?

: Rosscommon with the name of Bally League?

Now Dennis..Lad, you hurt my feelings when you ask
that question.
After the months of labor I spent putting the
Leitrim-Roscommon Townland data base on-line.
Go to the URL that I have listed below and enter
"BALLY" into the townland field, and "Roscommon"
into the county field and then hit submit.
See if anything come up that looks like
Ballyleague!!

From one of my little books here on the shelf, it
would appear that bally means "town".

Good luck with your research.
