My great-great grandfather, Martin Devine, was born in
Roscommon (county and town, I believe) on
November 3, 1824. He emigrated to London as a young
man and then to America (Ohio) in 1859. I'm going to
Roscommon in about a week and would love to hear from
or about any distant relatives still in the area.
If you have any info, please respond here or to
Karen.devine@zomba.com.

Thanks!

P.S. I like Guinness a lot, but it would be even better
with a long-lost relative!!

Hello Karen;
I do not have Devines in Roscommon but I have them
in Leitrim where there are many. There are also
a number of Devines in Longford. My father is from
Roscommon and in addition to genealogy information
in Roscommon, we found that Longford has many
records for Roscommon as well.
