Hi all,
Am a complete novice with tracing Irish ancestry so any help and tips welcome.
I'm looking for 2 families in Roscommon, not alot of information to go on but here goes.
Keogh family
Thomas born c1835 his father was also Thomas a shoe maker. Thomas junior came to England around 1850 to settle in Walsall Staffs
Naughton family
William Naughton c 1815(shoe maker) and his wife Margaret
had 3 children Mary c1837,Martin c1839 and John 1841. from the censuses born in Roscommon, the family moved to England sometime around 1850 and also Settled in Walsall. |

Sorry back with another question,
am particulary interested in the first lot you found,would Brigida be a similar name to Bridget? Where exactly did you find them please? I know my Mary Naughton married in our local RC chapel so could be that one, and she called one of her daughters Bridget
