Hello
Trying to find birth or marriage place of Patrick Tansey born abt. 1825. Wife Anne b. 1829. Children Maria b. 1851; William b. 1854; Sarah b. 1857; Annie b. 1863. The family moved to Liverpool (1881 Census).
Help appreciated.

The LDS films listed show the change of occupiers of land from Griffith’s Valuation to c1920. This may help locate the townland.

There is also a townland named Tansyfield located in North Roscommon. It is located about 1/2 mile east of the crossroads a few miles south of Elphin off the R368. It is immediately north of Lisduff, which is on the way to Kiltrustan cemetery. |
