Patrick Manion b. 1832 Roscommon d. 1898 N.J.
wife: Mary McLoughlin b. 1843 Roscommon d.1909 Lakehurst NJ (came to America in 1865)
Mary's parents were:
William McLoughlin b. 1820 Roscommon; d. 1893
Lakehurst NJ (son of William Sr.. & Rose (-----) McLoughlin)
wife: Catherine Leonard b. 1820 Roscommon, d. 1893 Lakehurst NJ (daughter of Thomas and Mary
(-----) Leonard).
Patrick & Mary Manion; Wm. & Catherine McLoughlin
came to probably Jersey City, NJ in 1865 and settled in Lakehurst, New Jersey where they died and are buried. WHAT TOWN AND PARISH DID THEY COME FROM IN ROSCOMMON?

My grandmother was Bridget Manion (mother's maiden name Feeney) who left Roscommon in late 1800s for US to care for her brother Patrick's two children when his wife died. He, however, owned a candy store somewhere in western PA. PRobably not the same Patrick. HAving trouble finding Manions in Roscommon, as it was apparently not a common name there.
