I'm looking for my gmother's mother and father.  Her name was Mary Dillon she was married to Bart Swift.  My gmother was Annie Swift, b. Nov 1-4, 1872.  Her death certificate states her birthplace as Mayo.  My aunt once told me she was from Balla.  This is about all I know right now, if you can be of any help I would be most appreciative.
                    Thanks

Harry,
At my LDS I went through the Civil Registration index
of births for 1872. There was one Anne Swift registered
during in Ireland that year. Her birth was registered
in Swinford Superintendent Registration District, which
I think may be n Co. Mayo. My library didn't have the
registration microfilm, but it is available through
your LDS library. Her birth registration should be on
Page 511 of Volume 19 on microfilm: FHL 0255864.

Good luck !
