: Michael,
: My husband's family were Winston's from Carrick area near Ballinlough and Castlerea in Roscommon. Somewhere in notes I took relatives talked about a Willie Welsh (or Walsh). I haven't been able to find it, but I'll keep looking.

: : My family came to America in the mid to late 1800s, located in Ohio around Plain City. My great grandmother Agnes Welsh (and I am told our former surname was Walsh) died around 1935. She had one son, Charles William Welsh, who was born aprox 1887 and died in 1961 in Dayton, Ohio. Her husbands first name was Smith. If this strikes anyone as familiar, please let me know.
